We are delighted to welcome you to Kipling at IF Villa, an intimate coastal dining experience overlooking the Indian Ocean. For guests staying at IF Villa, the Kipling menu is available throughout your stay, offering the convenience of exceptional dining within the comfort and privacy of the Villa. For non-resident guests, Kipling is open by advance reservation only and exclusively during periods when IF Villa has not been reserved in its entirety. This allows us to preserve the intimate atmosphere and exclusivity that define the IF Villa experience.
Guests are welcome to bring their own wine or champagne to complement their dining experience. Lunch showcases the rich flavours of Sri Lanka through our signature rice and curry offerings, while evenings feature a refined Continental and Asian-inspired menu. For special occasions, we also offer Coastal High Tea for groups of six or more Sri Lankan Tasting Experience available in the evenings for parties of six or more. Most items from the Kipling menu are also available for takeaway with advance notice.

At IF Villa, our cuisine is guided by Chef Koluu, one of Sri Lanka's most celebrated culinary figures and a pioneer of modern Sri Lankan gastronomy. Our carefully curated menus celebrate the finest local ingredients and international influences. Guests can enjoy an exceptional selection of freshly caught seafood, premium meats, vibrant vegetarian dishes, seasonal salads, appetizers, soups, and handcrafted desserts. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared by renowned Chef Koluu, whose expertise seamlessly blends Sri Lankan heritage with contemporary international cuisine.
